But our high level of competence also shines through in regard to storage, packaging and processing. AEROSIL^® is for the most part chemically inert and in appropriate storage will not undergo chemical changes after even decades of storage. Provided AEROSIL^® does not come into contact with hydrofluoric acid or strong bases, AEROSIL^® is offered in three different forms of packaging. Long established is the paper bag packaging form. In the so-called semi-bulk segment, AEROSIL^® is also available in a new form of packaging, FIBC's (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers). For very high levels of usage, AEROSIL^® can be delivered in silo vehicles. Thanks to our highly developed shipping and transport technology, and as a result of close co-operation with vendors and carriers, AEROSIL^® is a contributing factor in the high level of chemicals logistics.
