AEROSIL® fumed silica for personal care

AEROSIL^® and SIPERNAT^® silica products are versatile raw materials for cosmetic and personal care applications. AEROSIL^® is an effective gel-former which can increase the viscosity of oils, waxes and emulsions thus improving the structure and stability of creams, lotions, lipsticks and makeup preparations significantly. Both product types are effective flow aids, beneficial in the production and application of powders and hair care products. AEROSIL^® fumed silica also facilitates the processing of pigments and prevents sedimentation of solid components from suspensions.

AEROPERL^® granulated fumed silica is a novel carrier substance for liquid active ingredients and fragrances. With a silicon dioxide content of over 99.8 percent w/w, AEROSIL^® and AEROPERL^® are among the purest commercially available silicas. AEROSIL^® and AEROPERL^® and SIPERNAT^®. AEROSIL^® and AEROPERL® are all inorganic (mineral) substances; these completely amorphous products satisfy the requirements of consumers for reliable, safe raw materials.
