AEROSIL^® MOX grades are recommended for the production of highly-loaded low viscous aqueous dispersions. The fumed mixed oxides are manufactured (co-fumed) using the AEROSIL^® process as previously described, and may be regarded as a mixture of SiO₂ and Al₂O₃ on the molecular level. AEROSIL^® COK 84 is a physical mixture of SiO₂ and Al₂O₃ which provides strong thickening effects in aqueous media.
