Revised TI 1251: AEROSIL® and SIPERNAT® Silica: Versatile Raw Materials for Personal Care Formulations

AEROSIL® fumed silica and SIPERNAT® Specialty Precipitated Silica are versatile raw materials used in a wide range of formulations of the Personal Care industry.

The completely revised TI 1251 shows in detail formulation specific effects generated by our brands AEROSIL® and SIPERNAT® in hair care and hair styling, lipstick, eye shadow, antiperspirants as well as make-up. In addition, the TI presents our new concepts “Dry Water” and “Powder-to-Cream”, which are the basis for new and innovative formulations, e.g. in hairstyling or decorative cosmetic products. “Dry Water” turns aqueous solutions into a free flowing powder. “Powder-to-Cream” is a concept that allows formulation of almost any moisture-rich personal care product in a powder form. The powder obtained using this concept turns into a cream when applied to skin or hair.
